The monkey once high
With cables he could fly
Jumping from tree to tree
Catching his food
The years of his high
He could do no wrong
Even if he did then
No agencies wanted to probe
He could play his card right
The monkey could jump high
Many would say he had his smart
Until he forgot his cables to fly
Once he spoke against his own leaders
It was a signal of time of the past
He didn't have support but crocodiles
Taking his talent threw out in the end
Now he stands alone
On the ground trying to understand
The monkey looks around
He still has time to find a home
