The
potholes in our lives
We
envy other nations well
Even
across the South of the border
She
has nothing but she is economically strong
Without
natural resources
The
country's leaders make her tall
As
the financial hub for the world
She
has a strong currency fundamentals
We
can't match her
We
fail miserably on our own
We
let our opportunity run away
We
forget to change our minds
We
pick the bad leaders
All
the decades of the nation's history
Look
at the ministers and cronies
They
are rich beyond their means
No
authority dares to question
It
is left as though the laws don't count
There
are 2 types of law
One
for us; one for them
And
so the nation falls
As
we find out in our lives
We
have our natural resources
We
fail to make an impact
We
pick the wrong leaders
They
carted away wealth
Corruption
and greed on the menu
You
help me, I help you mantra
The
potholes in our lives
We
have to wake and change
Don't
be afraid to walk a new bridge
As
least we know we make it!
