The patronage system
It has to be broken free
It doesn't bring good cheers
As a whole for the people and nation
Growing up it was the talk
How good a cable one can get?
With it things or projects can move easily
No need to queue for hours to get in
Long ago I was in the bank
Waiting for my turn to get to the counter
A woman whom I knew came over
“Why wait? Come over here!”
She jumped the queue for me
Because she knew the officers at the bank
This is how the cable works in everyday life
Fix the cable tasks can move quickly
Has it changed today?
The patronage system still exits
Especially in the political system
It plays right through with it
