once she was small

Once she was small
The small baby girl had grown
The joy for her parents
The yearning finally true

The mix bag in her lineage
Asian and Caucasian
She doesn't know at her age
Wait until she grows

She talks a lot
Telling her quizzes
She can make it up
Catching you unaware

“What is a dog without legs?
One that crawls without legs?
What are witches on the beach?
She carries on talking

She will spend her time
In the land of Oz
She will only come
When it is holiday

Izzy is her name
The child talks non-stop
Telling stories and her toys
Making tea color of pink
