Once
I was
Walking
at the Taiping Lake Gardens
Under
the cool shade of trees
Watching
the lake drawing lines
The
sunlight showered its rays
The
shadows dance weaving in the eyes
There
were not many people then
It
was midday the sun blooming heat
I
watched the flaming sky
Under
the shade of trees
The
distance tweeting of birds
Along
the trees lined up on the road
But
I liked it here
The
quiet solitude of paces
The
wind slowly rustles the leaves
On
the naked branches of the trees
By
late afternoon I drove back
To
the city and thinking of the quiet time
Of
a place for anyone who wanted to meditate
Or
walking around the Taiping Lake Gardens
