Every step you take
You may get the
knocks
But you will not
fall
You still have your
firmed legs
The years of running
Pushing for the new
dawn
Some of you may
have thrown in prison
Yet your spirits
never waver
You push on
Leaving your
footprints of good values
Challenging the
authorities
Fighting for a good
cause
One final day it
happens
You have won the mandate
The power grips
your head
You can hardly
breathe
Now you have the
power
You seem to push
the wrong buttons
You try hard to
keep up your promises
You find there are
many old potholes to fill
The people aren’t
showing sympathy
They want the
promises to be fulfilled
This is why they
voted for the change
They forget about
the many potholes
So, every word you
say
The people will
scream back at you
Though you may fall
sometimes
You still have 3.6
years to get it done
